Turquoise How I Love Thee: Volume 8

So many colors that we love come from nature and turquoise is everywhere if you look. Turquoise oceans, turquoise lakes, turquoise skies... I even once saw a turquoise butterfly! What is your favorite version of turquoise? Is it in nature, in jewelry, or in products and clothing? Let me know in the comments below!

In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite things – in turquoise, of course!

1 Dripping in turquoise and denim? Yes, please! It's hard to choose a favorite piece in this incredible ensemble that Montana Thurtell put together but I think I'd have to pick the bracelet on her right arm. Every piece is absolutely stunning though! Which piece is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

2 I have never seen pieces of turquoise this large in the wild (aka in real life)! Astonishing pieces. These pieces must weigh as much as a one-month-old baby. Imagine the weight on your neck or arm! I once tried on a very large piece of turquoise on a bracelet (not this large, of course) and it literally gave me a larger bicep after wearing it around for a few minutes. The vendor let me wear it around the festival for a bit to see if I could manage to wear a piece that large. In the end, I just didn't think I'd wear it that often because of the weight but I do regret not purchasing it anyway for its unequivocal beauty. Do you think you could wear a piece this large? Have you ever seen a piece of turquoise that was this large?

3 Jeni Baker spent years looking for these matching turquoise Pyrex bowls. Once she found them all, she celebrated the moment with this gorgeous photo of them stacked, sitting on a beautiful piece of fabric. We all know how I love a stack! LOL! But in all seriousness, who wouldn't love this gorgeous collection of turquoise in their home?

4 I'm simply in LOVE with these turquoise heart nesting bowls by @redhotpottery on Etsy. I was a bit sad to find that the bowls were sold out when I clicked the link but then a did a bit of searching for the artist and it turns out she has her own website now. I've got to let you in on it because her shop is filled with GORGEOUS things that you won't want to miss! Currently, lots of stunning rainbows in unique shapes across hand-made mugs and vases – all sold out, mind you, but I imagine she'd love for you to join her email list to be notified of the next upload of products!

5 If I gave you three guesses about where this clock is from, I doubt anyone would get it. It feels like it's in downtown London on a very special building but that would be incorrect! It's right here in the United States - in Chicago, in fact – on the Macy's building of all places. This is absolutely the most stunning clock I have ever laid eyes on and seems worthy of a trip to Chicago just to see her beauty in person. The filagree, the details, and her regal stature combined with our favorite color – yep, turquoise – make her my favorite new clock. How about you?

Well, that's it for this edition of a few of my favorite turquoise things! Stay tuned and subscribe for more in the footer of this page. And let me know which item is your favorite in the comments below!
