Carnation Flower Stack Art Print
Did you know that in the Victorian era, Tinder wasn't around and so lovers had to send sneaky messages to one another with flowers? A coded message would be sent then the other person would respond with a carnation flower. A solid colored flower meant yes but a yellow carnation meant no. How fun is that? I love the idea of communicating with flowers and I guess that we still do in many ways... showing our respect for a loved one whom has passed, giving them out of love or appreciation, and celebrating our friends' new homes.
